Paul show the insignificance of outward privileges…

Paul shows the insignificance of outward privileges compared to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. “But indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ”. Paul didn’t trust in himself or in his own achievements in that religious community where he had grown. His boasting was that “I would be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith” Phil. 3:8-9, so that people would see in him a man who was in Christ. A man who was living by faith in Christ. A man who wasn’t self-righteous. A man in whom people would see Christ when listening and looking at him. Righteousness by faith, that was the issue yesterday in the Bible School of the Holy Spirit and today we continue 13.00… Pastor Kai
