The History and Vision of Take It Now Ministries
I was saved when I was 4 years old. Jesus Christ changed my life and I was born again. I was filled with the Holy Spirit and boldly testified about Jesus to everybody in my childhood. I loved the Lord with all my heart and I was called to full time ministry. When I was a teenager I was in crisis and I said good-bye to Jesus. In the year 1976, at the age of 20 Jesus called me back to Him when my fiancé Pirkko was surprisingly saved.
I met Jesus as my Saviour a week after that. Jesus is really wonderful! Pirkko and I were married; we were baptized in water, and joined the Pentecostal church. We were filled with the Holy Ghost at the same time in 1977. My wife Pirkko was also called to full time ministry by God and we started to proclaim together Gospel to people. In autumn 1980 we were sent by elders of the church to the work of the Gospel and we went to a Bible School for three months. After that we worked as pastors in two Pentecostal churches all together three years and three months.
We worked as travelling evangelists in Finland over 10 years. We went to villages and cities as other churches invited us working together with churches and pastors. In 1992 the hunger of more of God started to fill my heart. I hadn’t felt anything like that in my whole life. Somehow I knew in my heart that God is a big God. He has more, exceeding abundantly more than I have received. The hunger and thirst for God grew stronger and stronger as I waited for the Lord. In 1994 my innermost being started to open up for the Holy Ghost. Prayers began to flow out of my heart and I started to prophesy to people when I prayed for them. I met the Holy Ghost in new way when I was in Toronto in July 1995. As a result my whole ministry changed when I came back to Finland. God began to move in my meetings. That was something new and I rejoiced with all my heart. The sovereign work of the Holy Spirit began in my ministry, and because of that people were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit, they were born again and healed from their sicknesses. The presence of God and His power has been concrete in my ministry over 12 years, glory to Jesus! Jesus baptizes with the Holy Ghost and with fire, and He has all the authority. My wife Pirkko met the Holy Ghost in 1997 and her ministry changed, too. Together we offered ourselves into the work of the Holy Spirit.
Take It Now Ministries International is a ministry of the Holy Spirit. He has called us to the nations to proclaim the Gospel to the lost. The greatest miracle is when a sinner is forgiven and is born again and becomes a child of God. Also the angels rejoice because of that. Holy Spirit is our Sender. We don’t want to go anywhere without Him. With Him we are ready to go anywhere.
Our vision is to see Finland and other nations of Europe in revival. Now is Europe’s time. God wants to break into the nations. The Gospel of the Kingdom of God is to be preached to all nations. We want to bring the fire of the Holy Ghost to churches and proclaim the Word as it is written. Now is the time for great harvest. We want to be soul winners and revive the nations for Christ. We call pastors, churches and Christians to reap great harvest with us. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Holy Spirit is our Sender.
